Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Appreciation Thread)

It really is!

It is such a beautiful house! I hope to visit the exterior soon!

Ha! Na na na na na...

The movie is alright, but a British Salem doesn't work!

There are a few Channels with all the episodes =- try sabrinaallseasons, and then sabrinaseasonone, sabrinaseasontwo and so on. Also, amytheteenagewitch is my own ;) x

One thing I remember is how Sabrina would often learn a life lesson at the end of each episode. She'd recount the day's events to her aunts or Salem and then say something along the lines of "I learned something today. Life's not all about looking cool. It's what's on the inside that counts!" or "...it's about family!". Cringe.

I keep having loaRAB of memories of this show now... can anyone remember the episode where she had to solve the family secret which was that every member of the Spellman family has a twin? Aviary m-fire, then every member of the Spellman family has...a ball of twine?!?! :D

What happened to TV? The shows on Nickelodeon now are a disaster! With the exception of Renford Rejects, I think Nickelodeon have stopped showing and old shows... no Kenan and Kel, Sister Sister, Moesha (although it had a time on Trouble which is now defunct), Sabrina etc...

Thanks

What about the aunts?

Well cool you know the cast. It was fantastic show and the cast changes weren't a huge issue but always wanted to know why

I got season 7 in the post today and it reminded me of something I always wondered at the time, who the publisher of Scorch magazine was who hired Sabrina and everything. Seemed to be a plot point that woudl get revealed and yet I dont remember it being done so.

I loved that show when i was little, I always thought Salem the cat was awesome, I used to always make an effort to watch it when i came in from school.

Aww i used to have a crush on sabrina and zelda.

I remember a few episodes where the camera does a close-up on Zelda's legs :p

I like the episode where Sabrina has to interview a mean, arrogant rapstar but she turns her into sweet nun-alike.

And also the ep where they all sing 'Harmony' and Morgan jumps on the table infront of her parents? and does some hand jiving.

Earlier episodes were better though :)

Not really, it was the publisher "jonathan" who wanted her and hired her, and repeatedly told annie that she couldnt fire her. It was mentioned multiple times. In fact it was also mentioned in the episode where she had her performance review "and removed her appendix and eventually quit the magazine, that Jonathan had finally let Annie decide on whetehr Sabrina was kept around.

He was a mystery person who got dropped. shame. I always liked my idea, regardless of that it never would have worked, that it was really Salem.

Aww, i used to love this. Didn't watch the last couple of series though,i loved the earlier episodes. Remeber watching the same episodes over and over again on nick, loved the ones where she's babysitting and the one where sabrina has a halloween party and there's termites on the chair. :)

Also, call me crazy, but didnt the final part of the last episode, where Harvey and Sabrina ride off into the distance, when it first aired didnt it have No Doubt's "Running" playing in the back ground?

As the dvd version does not, and I could have sworn it should have, and the new song is nowhere near as good and detracts from the moment...

And while I'm at it, didnt that episode have a scene where Aaron's parenst sang a song "you say tomatoe, I say tomato" etc? If so, cut from the dvd.

Unless my memory is knackered, these dvRAB are not that good.

Aaron's parents do sing a song...I cannot recall if that line is in it or not! And I don't know about that song. I was only little when it first aired and didn't know the music :)

Today I shall learn the Harmony dance!

The better song they sing is cut from the dvd. Supposedly it the syndication cut on the disc, I dont know, I have only seen it on nickelodean when they aired them as new (I was at university when this sereis was shown!)

With Running playing in the background, the ending is great. With the crappy song dubbed over on the disc, it is not as great!
