Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Appreciation Thread)

I loved StTW, and I still do. One of my favourite Nickelodeon shows of all time. I'm a 90's kid so I remember watching it all the time and I've seen all the series.

Though I haven't watched it in a while, I still remember moments from the show. From the early days when Sabrina went to that camp and had to draw her poster for Harvey with lipstick and all her hair had gone, when Libby turned into a goat, when a beanstalk grew near Sabrina's house,etc. And some of the much later stuff when she went to college and dated Josh? And had frienRAB called roxy and Morgan, I think. Then she got her career and was supposed to marry Aaron, though I loved the finale.
 
I think that was the episode Aunt Dorma, the Spellman family's black sheep sent poppies to send Sabrina to sleep because Sabrina had woken her up. They didn't really affect Sabrina because she was half-mortal, but Hilda and Zelda fell asleep. Sabrina had to keep them moving, so put a spell on them where they had to act out their dreams. It was hilarious!

I loved the episode where Sabrina goes to stay with Aunt Vesta. They dance to the song "Shake your wammy fanny, funky song". On CITV's edit they always cut "fanny" so it was like "Shake your wammyFUNKY song funky song". :p
 
Crikey that takes me back. I went off it a bit once Sabrina went to college, got quite dull then.

BTW Gulftastic, it was shown at 9pm on a Friday in the US - not a kiRAB' programme really.
 
Yep. Season 7 was released on the 30th August! Can be bought individually or as a box set.



Ah yes, 'Sabrina Gets Her license Part Two' - lovely episode! And 'Harvey and the Beanstalk' - I love that one so much!
Yep Morgan and Roxie! I liked the finale but it's too upsetting! x

I remember back in the 90s they'd have "Sabrina Sundays" on Nick, it would be on the whole day. Me and the girlfriend would just sit all day and watch it. Brilliant

Valerie was hot, I used to really really fancy her.
 
Oh I loved Sabrina! I never found out what happened in the end... As someone mentioned before, ITV made it really hard to follow so I just lost track... IMHO the early series were the best. And I HATED that awful cartoon they made! (But I did collect the magazines) I also had a Sabrina Cindy doll! It was one of the happiest moments in my life (so far, back then lol) when I got home from ballet class on saturday morning to find my parents had been to Argos! Happy memories with that show!
 
Loved Sabrina but how annoying were the constant cast change

Mr pool in season 1 vanished with no explanation
So did the red head Jenny
In came Valerie who got the book after series 3 except she was given a explanation
Dreama never made it to series 5 and although she was a one series character, we never knew what happened to her
Miles disappeared in series 7


And the worst thing was the aunts. Season 7 without the aunts was horrible. They should of not been allowed to leave. They were brilliant.
 
why cant Nickelodeon Have a channel dedicated to OLD school shows :( it will get decent viewers.

I really want to watch Sabrina from Episode 1 again through till the last episode :(

they should call it 'Nick Classics'
 
Seen every episode and preferred the earlier series until the end of the Family Secret plot. It was an onrunning show. The Quizmaster was a legend, certainly a comedic character. This was something I tried to follow on a regular basis. And these shows which are made out to be kiRAB shows are actually great family entertainment. I have discovered this with other series such as Ocean Girl, which is, I suppose along the same lines. A Girl with an unusual gift who tries to solve problems she overcomes.
