...do i have to pay him? i was at the mall with my friends...Another kid called mall security on me as a joke... i then was chased around the mall... the officer finally understood that another kid did it as a joke... then the other kid kicked in his expensive bike rim, his hub, and broke his own spokes... now he says i owe him $200... and did i mension that he's calling the cops if i dont pay him?
he called the mall security, let them chase me, then the mall cop stopped chasing me bcause he found out it wass a prank... then, the kid broke his bike and did all that stuff and said "you owe me $200... if you dont have it by tomorrow morning, the cops will be there for you" should i do anything?

I agree with the other person that answered if ya'll were in front of a video camera and the other boy really broke the bike then use that.

Let him report it to the police. Then he will find out first hand what happens when one files a false police report.

In California 148.5 PC False Crime Report.

First u wont get into trouble cause they dont have any evidence
Second when all this over, kick the crap outa the kid.(JK, but that what i would do)

Let him call the police. If they don't have evidence you broke it, they can't get involved and he can't sue you. If they do have evidence you can get in trouble.

The cops will probably show up, but only to hear your story. You won't be in any trouble.

Falsely reporting a crime is illegal, and he can get in big trouble for that.
