Like others, this will depend on how you ride. I've been keeping track of my MPG ever since I bought my 2008 C50T. The worst I've done is 39.8 & the best was 50.3. I keep lots of stuff in my bags & I weigh 225lbs. For an average I'm getting 45.1 MPG. I usually go slow around 45 to 60 MPH but I love taking off fast off the start which is not good for keeping the gas in the tank.

75 to 80 mph on highway and a little too much hevy handedness in town, about 45mpg. 55 to 65 mph and shifting out sooner, about 55 to 58.

Latest MPG estimate for hiway riding: Distance from gas station to gas station, 150.2 kms, amount of gas burnt, 5.855 litres.

Fuel economy (highway): 3.898 litre/100 km
or
Fuel economy (highway): 60.3 miles/US Gallon

My bike is around 4000 kms (2485 miles) now and last year fuel consumption was around 55 mpg after the first service.

The following is from page 2-8 of the 2007 C50 Manual.

Fuel meter: The fuel meter indicates the amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. The fuel meter displays all 5 segments when the fuel tank is full. The segment comes on when the fuel level drops below 3.5 L (3.7/3.1 US/lmp. qt).The segment flicker when the fuel drops below 1.5 L (1.6/1.3 US/lmp.qt).

Picked up a new 06 c50 on 3/21/08 I now have 4250 miles on it, getting anywhere from 48-53 mpg depending on the right wrist twist (evin grin) loving every mile sofar!!!!

Three years of riding my s83 100% stock, I got 42 to 45 but mostly 42 MPG (US). My commute to work was 30+ miles and I generally stayed in the 75 to 85 MPH range of speed. I am 160 lbs.

I get about 45 miles to a gallon.
