s83 bigger tank

hello all,
i was wondering if there are any aftermarket fuel tanks for the 07 s83. sure would like to ride longer than 150 miles before another fillup. any ideas?

I checked G-man but nothing available yet. I know there are other tanks out there, just have to look for what you want is all.

If you can convince him to work on a tank instead of at his job, I used to have an MCD ERT that I loved.

Yeah, he's not cheap and it is hard to get him motivated to build one, but that is a good option. Donnie had a quality control issues with his new tank, but the guy made good.

No, the MCD ERT is the only 'off the shelf" option, and that is hit or miss depending on if you can get the guy to make you one or not.
A couple people I know have modified Harley fat-bob style tanks for their VS140s, but this takes some welding and fabricating, and it ain't cheap.

There's another option, the Thunderbike.de tanks, but they're even more $ than the MCD ERTs were.

there is also a wide variety of aux fuel cells you can add to your bike.

i thought about going this route... i got this instead. it cost me like 5 bucks. :lol4:
