I'm think that MSM works only as baseband processor and it is controled by S3C6410.. I'm not sure.. about two bootloaders: just look in original firmware.. it is different from other MSM based phones..

BOOT in firmware:
boot_loader.mbn for S3C6410
dbl.mbn for MSM6246

TFLASH_EN connect to pin A12 (name: XMMCCDN0) of S3C6410
T_FLASH_DETECT connect to pin L26 (name: XHIADDR8) of S3C6410

I think you are right. This is what I found out about the S8000 design, too. For Qualcomm only (MSM/QSC) solutions there could be just a single bootloader. But I am also not 100% sure about this.

One question is still open. Can you flash the MSM bootloader/firmware using the S3C6410 JTAG interface? Does anyone know this?

Cheers,
Dopi

Hi Hoang, thanks for your help. The sd-card supply voltage is working now. Another step towards android on the jet.

Hi,

due to great help from this forum we have managed to get Android running on the Jet ( as you can see here ). Now have problems with the touchscreen support. It seems like Samsung is using a switch in the touchscreen lines.

Can someone help me with the pinout (signal names) of HEA501 (pins 1..12) and U701? I als need to know to which pins of UPC701 (S3C6410) the touchscreen signals (I assume it is pins 2-6 of HEA501 and/or pins 1-2 of U701) and the controls for U701 (pins 8,10) connect to.

So far I have only access to the troubleshooting section of the service manual. For the touchscreen problem I did measurements but like this I cannot discover the full truth. Thus any help is greatly appreciated !!!

Cheers,

Dopi

P.S.: It would be very helpful to receive screenshots/photos of other GPIO signals of UPC701, too. Thanks in advance!

Oops, sorry! I was mixing up numbers. I am looking for the pinout of HEA501 (pins 1..12) and of U704 (FSUSB42) and for the pins on U701 where above signals connect to. Additional information on U701 pinning is very welcome, too.

Please help!

tks for your reply kiken, but look what, need register for see ?
