S60/E65 newbie stupid questions

I hate being stupid... and my pride had me swallowing so much...

I came back to nokia after a WM5 stretch... and I love being back. I love my E65, I like the looks, I love the logic of the operating system, I love what it SHOULD be able to do... but seemingly I am an idiot.

There Are a few things i just don't seem to get.

.sis files. Does it only install sisx files? Sometimes i see it grab a sis file (for instance when i go to the fring site and download the program, it says it installs a sis file... but when i send a sis file via bluetooth it says the file type in unsupported!

Voip. I tried everything, went through all the posts tried 5 different providers but no service seems to want to connect. I get fring workin, but it has such enormeous delays... (up to 2 seconds via skype out, that it is unusable. Tried truphone and gizmo and voipcheap, and spend days grazing through this forum and all the posts and it makes me wanna throw the phone against the wall... especially if I read the expression "works like a charm" one more time...

Internet radio... shoutcast, both programs installed... but not a chance in hell that it works, either over my unlimited 3G dataplan, nor one of the wireless routers here at home. I try to get the trial of virtual radio, but all I find is a sis file which won't install... I mean it is all about one radiostation really... I would be so happy if I could listen to KCRW on my E65. but i tried downloading it, putting it in the shoutcast folder... but nothing plays.... AAAAArrrrrrgggghhhh

So if anyone is willing t divulge to my stupidity and spend a few minutes sorting me out it would be wildly appreciated...

sis, u need s60 v9.1 anything under wont work.
plus u need to sign the sis to your phone.

hey yocko did you change the settings in the app manager? you have to set it so it allow unsigned applications..

also you might want to read the settings i posted for voipcheap.. works good for me... and i posted the settings that work for me.

as the post states above, you most likely have to change your app settings to install unsigned apps.

also, if you get your number approved by truphone, it should definitely work on the e65 with wifi. since you don't even have to enter settings with their wizard app, there shouldn't be any probs.

i have truphone and voipcheap working great on my phone.
