S50 clutch lever a long reach

I'm wondering if anyone can help. I have an S50 which I adore except for the reach distance to the clutch. It's way out there - near the tip of my longest finger. In my research I haven't found any aftermarket levers any different than the stock ones. Neither my hubby nor I are very handy about working on our own bikes. I would appreciate any advise that anyone has about how they solved this problem including fabricating their own fix. Thanks so much!

This is a common comnplaint amoung woman with small hands. Sadly, no one makes a lever to fit your needs, and there is no adjustment.
You could try some narrower grips, which would move you hand closer to the lever, or you could try rotating the switch box around the handlebar until the lever is in a more comfortable position for you. Some people find that the aftermarket 'fat' levers are easier to reach, while others say they are harder. If all else fails, a local machine shop might be able to make you something, or bend your stock one a little bit.
If you live anyplace near Atlanta GA, let me know and you can bring it by my shop to see what we can do with it.

my wife bent her brake lever up on her Rebel 250 and I was able to bend it back into shape with a rubber mallet (while it was removed).
Just be careful if you try this, that you don't bend it so far that it dosn't fully disengage the clutch when you pull the clutch lever.
