recalibrate battery on C/M/S35 (i got this method from Gazbag):

what you only need are a digital voltmeter and Siemens Sensor Tool v1.3 ...

Step-1:
discharge battery to empty -> put in the phone (do not turn ON) -> measure battery voltage with VOLTMETER -> write the number you got (in milivolts) as VBatt2

Step-2:
Run Siemens Sensor Tool -> look at SENSORS: VBattDSP -> write the number you got as VBattDSP2

Step-3:
charge battery to full -> put in the phone (do not turn it ON) -> measure battery voltage with VOLTMETER -> write the number you got (in milivolts) as VBatt1

Step-4:
Run Siemens Sensor Tool -> look at SENSORS: VBattDSP -> write the number you got as VBattDSP1

Step-5:
Write those values you got from step 1-4 in the Siemens Sensor Tool's calculator (on right side) -> click "Calculate SpgY03V SpgY04V" button -> then you will get the right parameters

Step-6:
Write it to your phone ...

But nothing is display on VBattDSP only ''--'' ,and one more thing Sensor Tool doesn't want to calculate, i just put some values in those fields and press on Caculate SpgY03V SpgY04V and nothing happens. You mention twice filds VBattDSP2 and VBatt2, but there are 4 fildes, were you mean onse VBattDSP1 and VBatt1?

Hi friend, what is your problem are you sure that calibration is in your S35, don't think so.
This blk is 100%good, I use it currently in my S35. I think that your problem is in charger. When You put mobile to charger it show you good, but please put your instrument to charger and see if you have between 7-8V that is good, if not you must open it and lot transistor with cooler. You will se that is not so good loted.
Stay good

sorry ... now ... posting is fixed!

open the INI file and check what tipe & version supported. i did that rules with S35 v18 ... fix the battery sensor, then upgrade to v25.

Hi,

Recently I upgraded the sw of my S35i from v05 to v24. (my mobile has 3 years)

Strangely, and I don't know if it is coincidence or not, the 600maH battery which before would last 4 to 5 days, now after the upgrade it hardly lasts 3 days in standby.

Do you think this is a calibration problem, or was the upgrade too demanding for the battery, lowering it's life?

Thanks in advance for any help on this subject
