S&S Gear Drive 510 Cams

Picked my bike up earlier from the dealer that did my gear drive swap. Tech says it idles a bit high and had runnability issues. Honestly, it's not idling any higher than it was before, and it runs pretty good. I loaded a new map from V&H the day I dropped it off.

-S&S gear drive 510 cams.
-upgraded oil pump
-new cam plate
-new lifters
-Screaming Eagle premium adjustable push rods

My tensioners were about 45-50% looking at them, I'll post a pic in a few.

Overall, pretty happy, cams sound good, more hot roddish, has good pull at highway speed.
 
Yeah, I have the new map loaded, i may re-load it or call V&H and see what they say., I link a video in a minute I just took of the sound.
 
your looking for limited pics ,could of put the bucks towards it instead of cams . Just kidding ,I know with the tensioner issues you gotta do something. Jim
 
You're going to like that 510. My BIL has it on his '06 Springer, runs like a raped ape. I did a 95" and cam on my bike, used the FP for a few weeks, ran great, put on the PC III, no significant improvement. Have fun with it.
 
Yeah, and next week I'm doing bars and chrome front end, chrome calipers, chrtome controls, new grips, mirrors, etc, etc...

But I wanted to finish this bike first.

New map is 0707 if anyone knows it or uses it.
 
The dealer was kinda pushing SERT and a dyno tune, but it's running fine for me, maybe in the future, but after this and next week's mods, i'm in this bike about $25K. LOL.
