Dear All,

After several flashes applied to my ME45i, the life time of the battery become very weak. Now my ME45i need to be recharged for every single day.

I've read about possibility to increase the battery life time by calibrating the battery using BLK file or EEP file. But the problem is, I don't know how to perform the calibration myself.

I've search for this topic everywhere, but what I found is the calibration mainly for SL45i.

Does anybody can teach me how to perform the battery calibration for S/ME45i? Where can I get the proper BLK file or EEP file for this purpose?

Need Help ? I see you are Indonesian, same with me !
Just Mail me at [email protected] , I'll Tell you how to recalibrate your sME 45i using siemens sensor tools. If you don't have it just tell me in your mail, i'll send it to you.

wait 4 ur respond

Thanks to tb146 for every information provided.

But after several trial-and-error, I just found out that Sensortool only supports the VBattDSP Measurement up to 35-series, it doesn't show the VBattDSP of my Me45i. Is there a way to find out the VBattDSP value of my battery?

Hi,
I need Battery calibration too. If someone kindly could show me how to calibrate (or the best paramater configuration)... because after three years battery indicator it's a little bit "crazy", shows half battery but after receving 1 short call goes to empty. Shutdown phone, power on and the indicator shows 40%, but it's not really really the truth !
Thanks in advance
@ tb146: could I contact you by email to know how to recalibrate?

@KoTsK:

Sorry if my question sounds too basic, but how to determine the address of VBattDSP for S45i?

edit: added information

After several discussions, come to the conclussion (or fact) that the address for VBattDSP is contained inside the RAM, not in the FUBU. And after conducting some search in the web, there seems to be not much discussion about how to get the VBattDSP address from extracting the RAM in the web.

So, is it impossible to get such information? But why the address for VBattDSP in M55 can be found out?

Also in S45i that RAM address can be (quite easily) found.
Just use byte pattern cross searching and/or fw routine disassembling and understanding.

I'll make it as soon as possible
Bye

@lalo
Can you make it also for SL45 users please? Hope you don't need a phone to do this.

Thanks

eheheh... no, I'm still here, my dear clubmates!

Sorry for "vacations", problem is always the same, TIME.

Anyway I'll get a look to find that ram location this weekend
Bye

@lalo: I'm expecting it, but you can take your time. It's better to be sure first rather than have to work in a rush. Thanks for the effort.
