Hi, folks. I'm redy to trade my N73 for E65. one of the features i must have is TT navigation. with my N73 (BT ver. 2.0) and BH-900 headset (BT ver. 2.0) and BT-338 GPS receiver (i suspect it has BT ver 2.0 as well, but it can be ver. 1.2) i can use N73 as a navigation and communication device at the same time -- i can listen to all navigation comand via BH-900 and do not loose GPS connection. When i place a call i can still se navigation on the screen, but TomTom mutes until i hang up. I used few other BT GPS units and none of them kept connection to N73 when i was connecting BT headset.

because E65 has BT ver. 1.2 i suspect i won't be able to use two Bt devices connected to the phone at the same time ( like BT headset and BT GPS). can anyone confirm it or someone has successfully used GPS and Headset at the same time. If yes, what models do you use?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I have- Globalsat 338 and a Jawbone. They seem to co-exist pretty well. Oh, and my phone still syncs by BT with my lappie even when I'm navigating and getting directions via the Jawbone. I don't think this will be an issue for you.

BTW, I did exactly the same trade as you- from N73 to E65. I don't have a moment's regret- for me the E65 is just a much better device.

Edit: I have not made or received a call when navigating with the GPS and headset active, so can't comment on whether that would work!

My E65 connects with my notebook PC, my Jabra JX10 and my G-Space GS-R240B external GPS concurrently and I've taken phone calls at the same time.

If my E65 could cook, I'd marry it .............
