S. Darko trailer

Noooo!

You can't remake classics! And you DEFINITLEY can't remake psychological thrillers with no real end like Donnie Darko.

Different stars, different director.

ReminRAB me of the nightmare that is "The Butterfly Effect 2"...... could be even worse than that!!

It isn't a remake it's a sequel. And the star of the sequel is his little sister. It's even the same actress.

I watched it again last night, a chance to notice all the little things I missed the first time around. It's much better on the second viewing as you are able to just enjoy it without trying to work it all out.

I'm still wondering what happens to the kid in the red PJs. Since Justin died the first tangent didn't happen, so that means that the kid in the red PJs doesn't have to die in order to save Sam.
Maybe the woman in the diner remembered. I wish they'd have shown her looking at the poster then out of the window.

When I firsst heard about this film I was sceptical, now I want another. Either a prequel, telling the story of Roberta Sparrow and how she wrote her book. Or another sequel.

I hadn't seen DD but wanted to see this film as I'm a huge fan of James Laffterty and Ed Westwick and as much as I wanted to like the film I didn't think it was that good, I did get bored. Some bits were good but others wasn't.

So having never seen one of the most confusing films of the last 10 years you still went ahead and watched the sequel?

The film adheres to the rules defined in the first film so it's hardly suprising you didn't like it.

I just watched this film and it was pretty bad.

It took the style of Donnie Darko then done... stuff... to it. That's the best I can describe it.

There was no sense of character because it kept diverting focus to other people.

Donnie Darko was good because you get it, but you don't get it at the same time (if that makes any sense?!)

This film was all over the place.

It felt like a Halloween version of an American teen drama.

I really wanted to like it but I couldn't.
