I have a 1999 Mercury Sable. Just the other day, on the right rear wheel well I noticed something hanging from the lip of the well. I went over to see what it was and it was some of the paint that started to peel away. Today the chunk fell off and a couple other little parts fell off and now I have a good 4"-6" space on the lip of the well that is rusted. The paint on the outside of the car just above the well is starting to bubble as well. Outside of that, the car is fine, a couple scratches here and there but nothing anywhere else. Can I just touch it up with some automotive touch up paint or should I go to a body shop to see about fixing it, or should I worry about it at all? Thanks!
