...America into a joke? Russian warships have set off for Venezuela for joint exercises unprecedented since the Cold War. The fleet of ships, headed by the nuclear-powered Peter the Great cruiser, set off from its base at Severomorsk in the Arctic. The ships are due to take part in joint manoeuvres with Venezuela in November:

this is aggressive foreign policy coming back to haunt, russia has had enough of our meddling and have decided to do some of their own. Of course republicans don;t see the connection - part of their delusion

nothing new

I guess you would rather Bush attack them. And then, being the lib that you are, you'd blame him for doing it. Why is Bush responsible for what every aggressive leader in this world does? And why does your ilk always side with the anti-American entity?

Charles M: Well said. And people don't say it enough -- what the liberals worldwide have done, not only to our country but the entire Western world, by encouraging our enemies against us is sickening.

Have you ever Been in the Military???, The news outlets are blowing this way out of context. More countries than not run joint Military exercises all the time, so it's not uncommon, I perspersonallye been on joint exercises with Russia, Germany, South Korea, England, Spain, Isreal, Saudi's, French just to name a few, Heck every year we run a major exercise in Korea that pisses of China and North Korea.

A joke? In what way? Isn't the US military in 130 countries, including Cuba while they were buddies with the Soviets! Even Mother Russia could not kick out the US from its satelite state of Cuba. Talk about a joke!
