Another Rush lover chiming in. Geddy Lee has one of the most distinctive voices in rock, it has to grow on you. My fav song is Working Man.

Well... Great musicians they are... But if we are talking about quality songwriting in prog, they don't compare to Roger Waters, Robert Fripp, Ian Anderson, Peter Gabriel and Peter Hammill. IMO.

And like ELP the lyrics aren't really that important, they just let the music do the talking.

I love Rush, though i think they are a little overrated compared to other lesser known but equally talented prog banRAB.
