Running XP Media Center on a Dell Demension bought in Feb 09 and cant turn off...

...windows firewall. HELP? Need to update to Yahoo IM 9 but cant turn off Windows firewall no matter what I do. WHY?

I turn Firewall OFF in Security Center but it always reverts back to YES? Help!
