If i was trying to lose some stomach fat to back my abs(which i have)
Would riding my bike give me the same cardio as running would to lose the weight? I'm just trying to lose around 3-5 pounds in my midsection.....

Ignore the people trying to sell you magic potions and tricks to flush the weight away. The fact is running or biking would be fine for you as long as you hit your target heart rate for a sustained period of time (you'll have to bike for a longer time period). This in turn will help your body burn up those calories. Once you lose those 5 extra pounds you can find exercises which can tone your midsection, and give toy the slimmer look you desire.

Both are great forms of exercise. however, there is no way to spot reduce fat. Just do whichever is easier for you. Also, be patient: the most fat you can safely lose in one week is 3lbs. Good luck!

Depends on the intensity...but yes both provide a very good cardio work out. What would be even better would be to switch it up and alternate doing BOTH...that way your body never gets used to it and is always challenged and you will lose weight more effectively.
