Okay I got 40 days to get in shape for Basic Training at Fort Benning, On Oct 30th I got a pt test I need to do 2 miles under 16mins, I can do a mile at 1 mins, but I decided to start riding my bike and do long bike rides about 1 mile or 2 each time or longer. Now will they effect my running? I also drink a protein shake after my runs and bike rides for the day. Which is better or got any ideas that will help?
