I recently got my SE w810 unlocked and have a 4GB memory stick for it. was wondering if you can run games, apps, themes and such from the memory stick instead of the internal memory? I got a couple of games which are .jar files but where do i put them on my memory stick? i don't see any folders on the MS for games or apps.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, you can indeed run all files (music, games, pictures etc) off of your memory stick. There isn' ta folder for the games to be placed in. You must place the .jar files in the 'others' folder on the stick, navigate to that folder on the phone (it will be in File Manager) and click them to install them. After they're installed, navigate the the entertainment section (or wherever your games are stored) and begin playing them :) .

To send a game, you need to have the .jar installation file. If you try to send it from the 'entertainment' section of your phone, you would only be sending the shortcut. The .jar files can be found all over the net, so just download one, save it to the 'others' section on your phone and then try sending that ;) .

There's not really that much difference when it comes to memory sticks. One by Sony or SanDisk would probably come out top compatibility-wise though. Also, make sure you get a 'high speed' one. these are much better ;) .
