Run down/sick/abdominal pain/headaches

Lately, i've been feeling really run down. My stomache has been all funny, and at some points I feel on the verge of throwing up. And sometimes I even get abdominal aching like its time of the month (but its not). I've been getting enough sleep, last night I slept from 9pm to 7am and only woke up once which is really good for me. I have been eating enough, haven't been eating lots of junk. I've been getting headaches as well. Mild ones mostly, that sometimes only last for an hour or so. Most are just really dull annoying aches, but occasionally i'll get a bad one. This has been going on for about a week. I thought it might be sinus related as I have chronic sinusitis and was getting a few blood noses lately (about 3-4 in a month, when i havent had one for years) but i think that was because of the heat we've been having, and that all my problems arent located to just the head now. My appetite has been up and down also, some days I want to eat everything in sight and the next i wouldn't care if i ever ate again.

I also have a problem with my eyes. I don't know how to describe them, the only word I can think of is "trippy". My vision is becoming sluggish I think. I have astigmatism but you know how your vision goes funny and your eyes go funny when your really tired and you rub them and they feel a little clearer? Well I have that all day lately and rubbing them does nothing lol.

I know theres alot there but does anyone have any idea's? I generally feel like i'm falling apart or growing old and i'm only 20.

I suffer from migraines and the headaches you describe that can go on for longer and the blurred vision could be signs of migraines, when you say "trippy" do you mean like you see multicoloured lights that are sometimes like I don't know say disco lights, triangles and odd shapes and start off small and slowly get bigger until you feel its all you can see? If so then these combined with the headache and the nausea could well be migraines as migraines can make you feel sick and the lights are called auras, when the pain is bad it feels as if your skull is about to explode, sometimes the smallest sound or light will make your head hurt more and if so then try going to bed shutting your curtains and make the room as dark as possible and if you can get a little bit of sleep it will help but the most important thing to do, the fact you already have a sinus problem is go and tell your doctor about the headaches as there are special pills to relieve these and normal painkillers won't truly cure a migraine headache, they take the edge off them but don't make them go away. Migraines also tend to start above one eye for some reason but you must go and see your doctor about these as if they're starting off mild they could be what are called cluster migraines(how mine started) and over time they found mine were linked to my hormones but I also have certain trigger foods that set them off and if I'm really tired then I can get a bad one but they're controllable and sometimes you may go for ages without one but if you are diagnosed with them always make sure you carry your pills with you as you will get to know the warning signs of one starting and the faster you can take a pill the less painful the headache is.

"Trippy" isn't anything like what you described. I'll try my best to explain it. Its more like slow moving, slightly hazy, not clear kind of thing. Like theres a thin layer of fog inbetween my eyes and whatever i'm looking at, or like i'm trying to watch a scrambled tv that has static in it. I don't really completely understand it, because its not so much how I visually see it I don't think, its when i'm looking at it, thats what i'm thinking it is. If that makes sence? I can see it, but it just doesn't compute sometimes. Like its there, but I can't "see" it. Also the headaches don't react to light or sound, its more of a dull ache with the occasional pain striking like lightning.

Hi well if it was me I'd be making an appointment with my doctor as the "trippy" visual disturbances aren't good but the dull headache then the sudden lightning strike could be a migraine and touch wood with mine so far all I've had are the odd lights spreading across my vision which when I described to the doctor she told me they were called auras, this was after what felt like months of testing me for diabetes, sent me to optician to test for gluacoma(not sure if spelt that right) and numerous other conditions and then on one of my regular trips to nurse for diabetes test I had a headache and she said I suddenly went really pale and looked as if was going to pass out so she called a doctor and when she came in I described the headache that had just hit out of nowhere and the odd lights blurring my vision and she just went "cluster migraines, why didn't we think of them earlier" and the medication she prescribed that day was brilliant went and got me one from her bag to stop the one I had and had to call one of my parents to drive me home as she said don't drive with the visual disturbance and since then as long as am careful rarely get them now. But don't mess about go and see a doctor this kind of headache isn't normal and could be connected to the chronic sinus problem you have but unless you go and ask them it's just going to get worse. I ignored my headaches and put them down to tiredness for weeks and took them roughly 6 weeks to diagnose them so go and make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible and get these seen to, it's obviously beginnning to really concern you and your health is very important don't mess with it.
