Rumor: T-Mo possibly getting N95

Who honestly cares? I mean, it would just be like the N90 when t-mobile had that briefly. Slight firmware intrusion (although really only their settings and no menus, unlike the way cingular craps all over their S60 firmwares), and it's going to be locked to T-Mobile. Right there, that shaves $150+ off the market value, especially since it's un-unlockable.

Now, if it somehow was a T-Mobile compatible 3G phone, that's worth talking about

I've requested the unlock code for my N80 from Voda (UK) and it's on the way... I don't see why the same wouldn't apply to the N95 when the time comes.

Incidentally, I don't know how much relationship there is between T-Mobile UK and T-Mobile US, but my T-Mobile UK N95 is not restricted or customised in any way to my knowledge and I have full access to all internet/voip features of the phone.

what we meant by not unlockable was by a hardware or software solution. there are many boxes and flashing utilities out there for all sorts of differnet phone manufacturers that cost $100-500+ and not one can unlock BB5 nokia phones yet. the only way is by requesting an unlock code from the carrier. so if you were to buy a locked vodaphone, o2...etc BB5 nokia off ebay you'd be **** out of luck.

yeah i agree i dont care if tmobile gets the phone just that i will not like it if they will screw up the firmware like cingular does to its phone .... and n95 can be unlocked easily

please tell me how thats possible. if you knew how you'd be rich already by selling your solution to the thousands of people that invest soley in hardware to unlock phones for their business

tmobile usa will give you the unlock code for your phone as long as you are a customer in good standing for more than 90 days and havent gotten an unlock code within the past 90 days
