What the hell is up with the Hunts ketchup!! I mean just about every other restaurant/fastfood/diner place uses Heintz ketchup. That's quality stuff!!! I mean if some drive by, mom and pop, run down diner can afford Heintz ketchup then Ruby Tuesdays certainly can too.

I occasionally will eat at a Ruby Tuesdays and for the longest time they were just like other restaurants and used the same ketchup as everywhere else uses. One day, I sat down at my table and what do I see?!?! A Hunts ketchup bottle was sitting in Heintz place. WTF!! I asked one of the waittresses there why are they using Hunts ketchup now? She said the business wanted to cut down on expences. WHATEVA! Use cheaper plates, use cheaper silverwear, don't offer so much stuff at the salad bar, ANYTHING but the ketchup! I won't have a burger there now because I won't eat Hunts. It tastes watered down and the tomatoes in the paste don't taste normal. It just tastes cheap to be honest with you.

Seriously, anyone else who is appaulled by this should go to a Ruby Tuesdays, order a burger, and bring in their own bottle of Heintz ketchup to use on the burger. Leave it in plain site so the people working there see it. Just don't forget to bring it back home with you. Maybe if enough people do that they'll get the idea.

DOWN WITH HUNTS! DOWN WITH HUNTS! :thumbsdn:  :thumbsdn:

The problem here is that Heintz doesn't make ketchup, so you'll probably have to keep your eye out for Heinz. It also could be that the owner of Ruby Tuesday's is a Republican and doesn't want to give John Kerry's wife (Heinz heiress) any money. ;)

Yea, had the "in and out" urge a few times.Want a tasty morsel, try Tommy Burgers in downtown L.A. They make a kickass chili cheeseburger.
