R's don't realize that our economy affects everyone elses

Its an ideological talking point, I dismiss it easily because it has absolutely no chance of passing and i prefer to spend my time in reality. The article you posted made some good points, the federal judiciary is already involved in some government spending/policy and the results have been disastrous at best.

I'm fairly certain that TKG managed to understand my concern for the amendment proposal, despite me doing it in a composed and rational fashion. You're a childish clown who doesn't understand how having a coherent discussion actually benefits a person trying to prove a point.

Grow the fuck up.

the democrats roll around taking money from the working class and transferring it to the non-working class so its not like those pieces of shit are any better

I agree that it has no chance at passing, and that it is indeed and ideological talking point - but what concerns me greatly is that that Boner is still trying to stick with it. He's been absolutely co-opted by the insanity of the Tea Party fanatics who do not understand that strategic compromise can indeed further the goals of conservatism.

Yes ... absolutely furious that Republicans have done nothing but turn off independent voters (and even a good bit of their own base) in a bunch of granRABtanding that is utterly futile, since the debt ceiling WILL be lifted.

Oh gawd, Republicans are digging themselves into a hole and tossing so much support towarRAB Obama. WITNESS MY FURY!

Rather than broker a goal that will appeal to the middle 50% of congress and pass, regardless of the hissyfits thrown by either end of the extreme, he's apparently settled on a wholly untenable strategy - throwing away massive concessions from last week because they were one candle short of the whole cake.
