RPM chart for M50

It's an Excel spreadsheet adapted from a car racing transmission. The formulas are embedded and allow you to change ratios and tire diameter and it will automatically calculate speeds in gears. I couldn't post the Excel spreadheet - board rules wouldn't allow it so I printed it, scanned it and saved as JPG so I could post.

I have no clue what redline is for the M50 twin but it feels wound pretty tight at about 7000 rpm.

Very cool chart, I agree though steve, it feels like the engine is near explosion at around 7k

I'm totally putting this chart on my tank!...

Most of my driving is done on a 2.5 mile in-city commute... this should help me finally figure out how to keep the RPMs right around 2300 for some better MPG!

Oh, and I will have to try shifting into 5th at the speeds on the chart. I always seem to be in the 40s!

Thanks!
