Street and garden parties are due to be held across Scotland as the second day of celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee gets under way.
In London more than a million people are expected to watch a thousand boats take part in the Jubilee Pageant.
About 20 vessels from Scotland are involved, including the Royal Barge from the Royal Yacht Britannia.
It will transport the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to the Spirit of Chartwell then lead the flotilla.
The Royal Barge, which is normally docked at Leith, Edinburgh, was taken out of retirement especially to take part in the celebrations.
The vessel used to carry the Queen to and from the Royal Yacht Britannia, before it was decommissioned.
Hundreds of man hours have been spent over the last six months sprucing up the barge and ensuring that she is fit, once again, for a Queen.
It was transported by road, along with two other escort boats, the 400 miles from Edinburgh to London earlier this week.
The Jubilee Pageant will be broadcast live on a big screen in Festival Square in Edinburgh.
The capital is understood to have had a third of all of Scotland's street party applications.
Ten official street parties were due to take place in the city on Sunday.

A Royal Mile Afternoon Tea Party will also be held in West Parliament Square with invited guests from local businesses, the local primary school and the Scottish Veterans Residence in the Canongate, as well as those who won tickets through an online competition.
Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said people up and down the country would take time over the weekend "to reflect on the contribution of their monarch to Scottish life as they enjoy the variety of events on offer."
He added: "Her Majesty has been, and continues to be, a great friend to Scotland, offering her subjects unparalleled dedication and integrity as she has carried out her duties throughout her reign."
