I just got a chi-pom (Chihuahua Pomeranian mix) she is 8 weeks old, i saw what i know now to be hookworms in her feces and took her to the vet, he prescribed an all around wormer and now she is passing large roundworms, the worms are as big as she is! She is just so small and i'm worried about her. How long will it take for the worms to be gone? I have to re treat her weekly, will she be okay if it takes weeks to get rid of them? Does her passing them mean that all of the adult worms are dead now? she's just so little, and i'm worried about her.
