So these are 2 apps that I really wanted to install b4 I got the N95-3, but now that I have it it seems that symbiansigned.com changed there policy and will not wont sign apps unless you have a developer certificate (cost of over 200 bucks).

How the hell else are you suppose to do it?
Can you modify the symbian OS to install unsigned apps?
 
For the thread, you'll need to donate to Samir for each app to obtain an unsigned version of each app that does not have a UID lock and submit both to Open Signed on symbiansigned.com.
 
I still dont get it. uggg.. if i make a donation he will sign it?


I get this if i use the open sign link with the unsigned app on his site.

FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x200087b5 )
 
They won't sign for you anymore. It's not an issue with real software developers or companies, but Samir either bit off more than he could chew or is just shady like a muh.... oak tree. The whole "its free when it's stable, but if you want to beta test my crap you have to give me money" irritates me more each time I think about it.
 
hints why so many people were trying to sign them them selves.. How long has the app ben in an unsigned beta test trial? He's the only one who developing this? Whats he waitin for a patent to go through?
 
Let's start at square one.

The only place to sign an app right now is Symbian Signed, but you need to have an unsigned application that is not UID locked.

The only way to get a copy of RotateMe without a UID lock is to donate to Samir on his website. Any version available on his website for free is UID locked and he will send you a version that is NOT UID locked when you donate.

Use the UID unlocked and unsigned application at symbiansigned.com using the Open Signed page I posted.
 
Just for ultra clarity, when you donate he sends you a link to his forum, from where you can download the latest beta, which is not UID locked. Do not wait for him to send you the version - you need to sign up to his forum and get it there.
