Takes time, I'm not going to hold a possum playing dead for 45 minutes and wait for animal control to arrive. I just have a certain fear and hate for rodents, seriously, I can't stand them, they carry diseases, I know killing animals is wrong, but when it threatens your health, its best for everyone when its dead.
 
A possum, or more specifically the Virginia Opossum, isn't a rodent, but a marsupial. So, you're dumb too.

And rabies, the disease the OP was talking about, isn't exactly transmitted by fleas or rodents very often for that matter...
 
Well Roskco I hope you're like me, even when you fuck up collosally you pull yourself up, move on, and try not to fuck up that bad again. It's possible things could be really good for you some day, but if you push too hard, this universe pushes back, and it wasn't just the cops beatin' ya down man. I know it sucks, but fuck it, there's no time machine. If you at least learned never to ever do that, or anything remotely like it, again, then I personally feel you can live without regret. Well, that's sufficiently the studidest thing I've seen in a while. But at least you know it's stupid. Accept your consequences, do what you have to, and move on with your life. It's the best you can do.

And keeping an opossum "dead" is like just screaming at it or poking at it until animal control comes. I understand if you have this weird phobia about it, then just fix the house so those suckers don't come in :D
