I'm getting an HTC Evo Shift 4G in a couple of days, and I really want to use the wireless tethering tool, but my parents won't pay for it. I found out that if you rooted the phone and you could get wireless tethering for free. I'm just wondering if the phone company will bust me (Sprint) if I just using it for gaming purposes (Wi-Fi at my house is terrible).
