Room Cleaning Techniques?

In my room, I have a desk covered with papers and junk, 2 bookshelves with organized books but some random trinkets that need to find a home, a unclosable dresser because if the amount of clothes with tons of jewelry strewn across the top, and a nightstand with more jewelry and trinkets strewn across even though I have places to put the jewelry, and in my closet I have a chest where I keep shoes, jackets, and bags. On my floor i have more than half my clothes, shoes, trash, books, sheets. I also have a suitcase that needs unpacking and school stuff that needs to be sorted. Speed is NOT important, I need it clean in two weeks, can someone give me a daily schedule on how to clean it so I don't have to be stuck doing it in one sitting?

Pick two things a day to do. Okay start with your desk. Clean it off and make sure everything goes in the right place. Try to keep your desk clean. Then move on to the unpacked suitcase, unpack it..put up clean clothes and put dirty clothes in the laundry basket.
What I do is when my room gets messy, I pick up everything off the floor and put it on the bed. Then, I just go from there. I take the laundry off the bed and put it in baskets and wash them. Then whatever else is on your bed just put it in the right place. Vacuum last. Wash your sheets when you get the bed cleaned off.

Simple answer. Get rid of all the stuff that you REALLY don't need. Seems to me you have far too much clutter. Too many clothes, too many shoes and too much jewellery and trinkets. I'm afraid you will have to say good bye to a lot of your stuff. Think about it...Do you really need all that stuff???
Decide what you want to keep and what is junk. Now, there's a start. Have fun.

Getting rid of old stuff will make it a lot easier! Things that are broken, clothes that you never wear, papers you'll never need, etc. Books you know you're never going to read again. Get a designated basket/box for the trinkets. Throw away the trash!

Just bring in two trash bags into your room: one for trash and one for things to donate.

Once you get rid of the extra stuff, organize the rest.
