Agree with all the posts in here. As Alek said, we don't want Chloe choosing him because he's the only option and with Brian dead, that would exactly be the case. He has to live so Chloe gets her chance with him and then chooses Alek. I can't really see it playing out any other way, it just feels like it's being set up to happen.

At least for me my Brian like has waned b\c before I used to like him by himself but now there are little things about him that are annoying me about him so yea I wouldn't say it's growing. Again, where are they reading this :lol: maybe they want to make the fans feel like it's even but seriously, did you see that poll where it was 98% of people wanted AC?

I bet 9 billion dollars that Brian is not dead at all.

Okay, thing that pissed me off the most (and believe me, there were plenty of moments!) was when Brian's like, "If you're not out in 10 minutes, I'm coming to get you," and Chloe's all, "Aww, thank you!"
GRRR. If Alek has said that, Chloe would've been put out and all, "You don't have to follow me. Go home!"

Grr. I'm going to die frustrated if this show doesn't get renewed.
 
its not even about the first guy, but the mythology unless they want to make the whole mai/human myth all wrong. Even if he is still alive Idc. The fact that she thinks she loves him makes me lol. It's not like they have this long history. They've done a poor job of showing us the brian/chloe love story imo.
 
Hey fellow awesome people! May I be added to the list? I joined FF for the express purpose of taking part in conversations about Chloe and Alek :blush:

I tried to stay away from TNLOCK, honestly. I was all, "pshh, this is so lame" and all that jazz. But when I caught myself watching their scenes from the first episode over and over again on youtube... I knew it was useless to deny. I am in love with this couple.

Oh man, and I thought my fanfic was going to go crazy in the next few chapters.

I did guess a few things that happened in this episode on the post I put on my Turablr. I don't know if I should be happy for that.

Waiting now on the download to screencap the Chalek scenes for Turablr. Still shocked about this all though. Too much for me to deal right now.
 
I have been shipping them since the first episode. It was the 'you smell very good' part that got me. There's a lot of undeniable chemistry in that scene. Very unusual for a first scene (of full dialogue at least) between two characters.

And it's even more unusual how fast I fell in love with these two as a couple. So many years in different fandoms and it had never happened to me.
 
I'm glad he said it too. I was happy when Jasmine said basically the same thing a couple of episodes ago. I think having them address that issue onscreen means they're aware of how it would look so they won't have it happen. That's why I can see Chloe having both options and choosing Alek. They've been addressing him deserving more than that so much that it has to come full circle. She has to choose him. It makes sense from a storytelling POV.
