RomeoxJuliet Discussion

I finished watching this a few months ago. I remeraber it was, if nothing else, creative in how it interpreted Shakespeare's original, with throw backs to the family fued and the wedding. However, Season 2 was somewhat lacking and "the greatest love story ever told" seemed more concerned with the fight between the two houses then Romeo and Juliet's relationship.

I could rant on about this anime but I would like to hear what you all thought of it? Interesting idea? True to the original? Or just not worth the time?

in a few worRAB, purely fantastic
I think the anime reviewers that rated it low in part was due to the fact that it didn't follow the source material closely. But I think people need to realize this isn't a redo with guns, it is an adaptation with differing cultural trenRAB and beliefs. Even with that, RxJ did extremely well in my eyes. And the funimation dub can be easily the top three dubs of the year in my book
