rogers wouldn't give me a data trial plan

I know what you guys mean. I am from Toronto, and I had a job communting to the US from Canada and actually got a US phone a couple years ago using the office address in the US as my address. Got an international plan so the calling rate between US and Canada was included in the package.... First I had to pay a 400 deposit because i didn't have a credit base in the US, and had so many problem with paying the bill (needed to add a US address to my CC), if i had breaks in travelling I needed to drive to Niagra Falls to re-establish my phone on the network for data..... friends were paying long distance to call me...... bottomline, the rates in Canada have ALWAYS been terrible for airtime, and for datapacks.

By the way, What do you mean it will screw up your current contract? Is it a regular wireless voice plan? How will it screw it up?

I plan to go for this option but I'd like to try it without changing my voice plan o.o
I also don't mind getting locked in for 3 months but the website says 1-3 years?
 
I dont know about you guys but my plan is like $110 a month which includes 350 day time unlimited eve/weekends plus 25mb and a bonus 25mb so 50mb of data total. I just switched over to this new plan they had last month. To tell you the truth I love it. I really dont have to worry about data overage which is my biggest concern. Now my biggest problem is my BB never leaves my hand.
