Rogers: something like E62 vs. S621

I'm thinking about getting an all-in-one when I get my hardware upgrade. Something in the price range of $200 on 3yr contract.

I saw the Nokia E62 and HTC S621 on the Rogers website. Does anybody have experience with these?

I current use SE w810i and music/video playback is used daily (now I don't want to carry pda for schedule, etc.). The camera comes in handy but I don't think it's a deal breaker if I don't have one.

My big question is what do you know about the performance of these two? Things like which display is better, faster processing and interface, sound quality, RF come to mind.

i just got a nokia e62, its not so bad but i wish it had wifi thats all that i dont like about. in terms of speed, its a little slow compared to some of the blackberries... but i think if u can, spend the extra money and buy the blackberry 8800. i bought my e62 privately, but if i was eligible for a hardware upgrade i wud get the blackberry

Thanks for the info. The problem is that even on 3yr contract, that bb8800 is still $500. I'm finding it hard to justify that $300 difference. Esp b/c I won't count on keeping it longer than a year. You've got a good point about the wifi - so that's why I was wondering if ppl have the s621.

And... is the s621 the same as the T-mobile Dash?

Yes, the S621 is the same as the Dash. I have the Dash and honestly, I have never been happier with a phone. I have a hard time being happy with one phone but I spent the money and got it. Its got a good screen, its fast and fully capable as a multimedia machine. It also feels great in hand because of the soft-touch coating on the back. And it seems pretty easy to keep clean and overall pretty durable. If you know how to move around WM its very fast to navigate. Plus, its a pretty small device and still very manageable for a pocket. The only thing is the camera...its slow and pretty bad. But it will work for those social moments.

EDIT: Also reception and voice quality are great.
