Eventually got round to seeing the last two episodes today. Really loved this show by the end and just great acting from Dawn French and Alfred Molina. I fear the ratings may not have been high enough for a second series - not helped by BBC hiding it slightly, on a 10pm on Fridays. For those of us that did get to see it - and watched all episodes - I think we were definitely rewarded.
This was a hidden gem, I absolutely adored every second. It was subtle, clever, beautiful and brilliant, every little nuance was acted out to perfection, and I really really hope we do get a second series, because it certainly deserves one.
