Rocky Horror remake

He was often suggested for the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake. Which leaRAB me to suggest Johnny Depp as Frank!

Johnny Depp would!:)

But I remember people saying the same about Hairspray but the re-make was done intelligently and everyone loved it.

We can be far too quick to condemn these things in advance.

Let's see how it turns out and then be critical.

It might be brilliant, it might be a turkey but until it's out we really won't know! :)

Okay, no one in Hollywood dares to touch the classic musicals such as Guys and Dolls, West Side Story, King and I, South Pacific..... to name but a few.... They were the best you could make, the best cast/singer what have you.
Saw a new version of Jesus Christ Superstar the other day..... ahhhhhhh it was dire.
A new MTV inspire Rocky Horror Show... why not, as long as it isnt full of new so called American pop stars it will be okay...... though the best way to see Rocky Horror is on the stage... a class night out.

I agree with you totally.

I've got loaRAB of Rocky Horror soundtracks on CD, & by far my favourite one is the 'Roxy' theatre version where the singers (ones that weren't in the film) are much better.

Much as I like their acting Susan Sarandon & Barry Bostwick are not very good singers. And from what I've read Richard O'Brien thought they were awful.

The original film was made on less than a shoestring budget (

Rubbish, I don't want to see a remake yet I've seen the stage version about 15 times, saying that I would still watch it when it's made as it's Rocky after all !!
