5 is not as bad as I remember it to be honest. It doesn't sit well with the other films, largely because he doesn't fight, but it's not as bad as you think if you try it again with an open mind.

rocky 7 was rumoured before #6 was released over here, its expected and will happen no matter what the public think, cause sly will milk more money outta his films now they got some respect.

I watched Rocky Balboa the other night. It's been a fair few years since i've seen any of the others, but was it just me, or did it feel a bit more unrealistic in the fights? None of those punches looked like they were landing or doing a thing until the specific big hits. I'm sure the older Rockies looked more real during the fights.

Sly's mentioned that he's not gonna do another Rocky, but another Rambo, well that's another story :)

He did say on Jonathan Ross that Rambo's not been ended just yet (or worRAB to that effect), so we might just see John again ;)

i got all 5 rockys on dvd and i got rocky balboa on blu ray

rambo 1 an 2 hd 3 on dvd

i tink the only reason why rocky 5 didnt do well is beacuse they didnt fight in the ring .

The typical tired "fanboy"defense. It's boring guys.

I have thought Rocky V was awful from the moment I first saw it on the day of its release. This when I was expecting to experience the complete opposite.

Just except the reality of the situation... You both happen to like an incredibly poorly made film, and Stallone has had the common decency to admit to his huge mistake for agreeing to make it in the first place.

Have you seen it since though? Watch it again and still slag it off, yes, but don't rely on years worth of bad memory and negative press.

I used to feel the same about Alien: Resurrection but I saw that recently and it was nowhere near as bad as I remember.

however i wish there was no mention of rocky 7.

Why cant he let it end, i love the rocky films (all of them) but a 7th would be a joke, Stallone did really well in making the 6th a success when everybody though it would be stupid but another would be pushing it, dont do it sly!

Dont know about reading an interview but he said recently on Jonathon Ross Friday night show that Rocky was more or less dead for him, in that he wasnt looking to do another one.

As for Rambo, he said theres a good chance of another Rambo being done but the problem being is his body cant keep up so might not happen. Personally id love to see him finish off the Rambo franchise...ive loved every Rambo so far and the latest one was brilliant...another switch your brains off and enjoy the action type of movie. My only niggle with the latest Rambo was that i didnt really like the CGI effects. But otherwise i loved it, must have watched it at least 4 times now:p...

I agree with you. He should leave the Rocky franchise on a high. The sixth film was fantastic and it would be a shame to make a new one badly and destroy the work done in the sixth.

yes Rocky should be finished now. The only thing left open to Rocky is to go into management and that would just show the political side which they sort of covered already in Rocky III

The only thing they never did was put the art of boxing on screen. As a film for the US every punch had to be a massive haymaker all the time which isn't the case in real boxing but I can't see them being able to do that with a new film either

funny cuz I read an interview the other day and he dismissed it as never happening and stated that it was a miracle that either sequel(Rocky Balboa, John Rambo) got done at all
