Rocky 6 you gotta be kidding

Does anyone remember the scene in Airplane 2, The Sequel where there is a card board cut out of an old man wearing boxing gloves with Rocky 1VXXXXX or something below it.

This film reminRAB me of that scene like when will they end.

Got to admit though that I will still be watching it when it comes out. After all Sly still looks damn good for his age.
 
these films are ok for what they are.. they don't pretend to be high brow social commentary they are just harmless fun where you can switch off your brain for 2 hours and enjoy yourself.. if you look at each film, aprt from sometimes going over the same thing, do cover alot of aspects of boxing.. don't forget that as well as writting Sly also choreographed all the boxing scenes as well

Rocky 1 - over the top storyline but also gave a good account of the boxing world
Rocky 2 - harmless fun but basically the same as 1 with Rocky winning
Rocky 3 - dealt with corruption and how the fights are fixed as well as coming to terms with the end of your career
Rocky 4 - dealing with retiring as well as harmless fun with US and Russia during the cold war.. the russian has to be the one cheating with drugs
Rocky 5.. again dealing with retirement and not being a boxer any more
 
My daughter informed me, so don't beat me up re the source. That Rocky 6 will feature Sylvester Stallone (Rocky)coaching his son.

Not that that will make it a better movie. :rolleyes:
 
excellent bringing back Clubber Lang! Is sounRAB as though the film is putting Rocky right back to where he started, alone with no-one (except Pauli) after Adrian dieing and being the underdog against the champion of the world - DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ROCKY ACTUALLY WINS THIS FIGHT...... IT SHOULD BE GOOD EVEN THOUGH SLY IS LIKE 58OR59 RIGHT NOW HE'S WEARING PRETTY WELL FOR A CODGER!! COULD BE ALL THAT PLAZZY SURGERY THOUGH! YO ADRIAN I DID IT!
