Rock 'n' Chips - Only Fools and Horses Prequel

Recorded it, and have just watched it.

I wasn't sure at the beginning, but am so glad now that I have seen it. Well cast, good script, and I do hope that there will be one or two more programmes to "tie up the loose enRAB".

Yep. I'm finding it totally confusing that Del boy's mother looks and sounRAB so much like Del Boy's ex Junie.

Not liking this at all. It's just like a poor episode of Heartbeat, and apart from the names there is no connection to OFAH.

I agree TGGG was written by Sullivan and a pool of writers, and have grave doubts that the magic could be re-captured, of course the first episode of OFAH back in 1081 was mediocre, but has been mentioned since the "scissor sisters" @ G.O.L.D. has sanitised evey episode, its a pale shadow

This is something my mate told me about sometime ago, its not going to be what you think, its going to have some very hard hiting bits in it.

I think its going to be very good and i ask the menber of this forum and the press to give it a chance.

I refer my learned friend to the O.F.A.H Episode "A Royal Flush" where Sullivan changed Del Trotter's persona, but changed his mind on completion of said episode and had it re-edited

Broadcast has an article on the new specials with some exciting information!

So all the main cast will be back, which is brillaint!

It will be great to see GrandaRAB wife!

I'm taking my car along for a spot of filming next Tuesday, not quite sure what for but I think it will be a static car lot shot.

Had a good day filiming on Tuesday, my car appears in the car lot. Looking at the notes the crew were writing, looks like this is the Frog episode for Easter. Not sure what I can say about the scenes that were being filmed, i've got some photos of the set and my car with the cast but I think again I can't post these on the web.

Interesting experience though, seeing what goes on behind the scenes and for spending about 9 hours filming will probably be about 5 - 10 minutes on screen

There was a lot of standing about, with rehersals, takes and re-takes, plus re-shooting scenes from different camera angles and setting up the lights and cameras. We finished the last shot at 9.15 pm on a road pertaining to be the A23. A lot of scooters were involved.

Will be interesting to see the finished episodes, so I actually know where those bits fit in with the story.

Actually, from people I know (or have known) who have had some involvement in TV filming, 9 hours for ten minutes screen time actually represents a pretty successful day.
