I'm an amateur to start with, but I'm looking for decent camera that I can use around the woods and countryside with out the fear that I might scratch it, drop it etc and it breaks. I've been wondering around with a little digital camera and it doesn't have the quality or zoom that I want. I quite like the look of the cameras professionals use - the ones with a twistable zoom on the front.
