Robbed!!!!

My boyfriend has been with tmobile for some time now and when he signed up he had to make a 125.00 deposit to get the smart access plan. So now that's its been about 2yrs they can't seem to find the deposit, first he was told to call the store which the tmobile rep said that the store will sometimes keep, so when calling the rep there said that he had to call customer service, so again back to CS and of course they still said they didn't see where he payed it but CS said they were going to check into it and get back to him in 6days . Of course that wasn't good enough for him so he called back and asked to talk to a supervisor and who would have guessed that the supervisior said the samething. Now of course the copy of our contract is long gone so its like tmobile just took his 125 and said the hell with trying to help you. So I'm now on line with sprint because tmobile has robbed us.

What? First they only charged me 75 bucks deposit when i first signed up in '99 but it was also non-refundable because it was smart access.

This happened to me 2 years ago myself. They claimed that since I was getting help to pay my bills that they weren't showing up in the system. But after faxing my paid bill statements to them, they finally found my payments and credited my account. Otherwise I would have bailed 2 years ago.

Smartaccess was never a $125.00 deposit nor did T-Mobile ever have a 125.00 deposit. When you got the phone two years ago did it include anything? a car charger? a blue tooth? a case? if it did then you got upsold a Smartaccess T Class $75.00 non refundable and you paid for the accessories.

Could it be that he paid 75 for his line and a discount for her line?

Bottom line here is----they paid SOMETHING and were cheated out of money that they gave a company to. If they were "upsold" and weren't told, that's wrong, as is "loosing" money that was owed to them.

It could be 75 for the deposit and the rest the activtion fee and sim card. the smart access deposit is non-refundable.

If you did not save your receipt showing the deposit, you are SOL since it appears that the rep just kept your money and pocketed it.

yeah, sounds like it was the non-refundable "deposit"....

...i have also heard of the doposit "accidently" being credited to the account, so you just skip a bill or two. so who knows.

sucks though, good luck figuring it out, and hope it all gets sorted out!!
