If I buy this phone with this problem he notes will roaming work you think?

My two cents: Roaming should work if its a cricket roaming PRL that is loaded on the phone already.

If not research a way to change the PRL before you buy it. So once you get it you can change the PRL to a roaming. Once thats done you should have Voice and text atleast working. 8p

If you have roaming on you account and you can *228 (the SPC/MSL has to be unlocked to 000000, 111111, or 333333). Then *228'ing will load the roaming prl to the phone and it should work without issues. Also make sure roaming is enabled in the phone settings.
