roaming on cingular

as a tmobile customer, when you roam onto a cingular tower, is there any kind of fee involved?

you know i dont believe t mobile has roaming since all of thier plans have nation wide coverage there would be no reason to roam and they all share towers so yea....

This is one reason I like t-mobile. They have absolutely no roaming charges. So dont be worried if you see cingular/at&t splashed across your screen.

IF you roam on cingular you can use your minutes and sometimes your mobile to mobile. but as far as data...i think its an extra few cents per kb used. Checkout your roaming plan under your account at tmobile.com. Or jsut call customer support.

no romaing fees..first time I was roaming on cingular I called them right away...they said there were no fees...so dont worry

When you are roaming the data works, and there are no extra charges. When you are roaming your mobile to mobile doesn't work. If you are roaming and call another T-Mobile customer then it takes away from your plan minutes. Trust me.....I answer these questions day in and day out since I work for T-Mobile.

Is there anything special I have to do to roam on Cingular when not in a T-Mo area or does roaming happen automatically. I have my network set to auto.

It will automatically switch to Cingular if you aren't covered by T-Mobile. It happens to me when I vacation in North Carolina.
