Does anyone know if the HD backrest will work with the Zep seat?

FLHTCU, you are correct. I don't believe they offer the 08-later zep seats in leather, not that I could find.

I just picked one up and will be putting it on once the bike comes home from the shop. I can hardly wait to try it out.

Funny story, when I received the seat I opened the box and took the seat out. It's definitely a BIG seat. I was quit surprised even though I knew the dimensions when I bought it. Seeing it in person, is just different. Any ways, the wife was sitting on the couch busy with her laptop and I made the comment that "that is a big ass seat". She looks around her laptop and says "well, luckily you have enough ass to cover it". I couldn't really argue that with her I am at 335 pounds. Funny, nonetheless.

I've had one on my '09 Ultra since last season. I call it my road sofa. '08+ only comes in leatherette & 2 bladders for the driver & 1 bladder for passenger. I ride with bladders inflated most of the time. It didn't increase reach much. I also use mine with the backrest. AWSOME comfort. Air seat, backrest & highway pegs = comfort on 2 wheels.
