I'm building a custom steel frame. I've been having upper back and neck problems on my current road bike. I lowered the seat and it helped a lot, but now i can barely pedal. so my question is: can i make the head tube longer, effectively raising the handlebars? the net result would be, assuming a horizontal top tube, a ridiculously huge frame. What is preventing me from doing this?
