I am interested in purchasing components for a bike frame and fork that interests me. It is a steel road frame, 54cm, and I want to get decent quality components, wheels, etc. Shimano 105 quality or something in that quality range, ie SRAM, Camp, etc.
Is there a cost effective way to get everything I need by ordering a kit. Remember I would need everything: handle bars, stems, bottom brackets, cranksets, cassettes, chains, wheels, everything. I would love to place a single order for all of these items in a kit if possible. I do not want the cheapest, but I cannot spend a lot either. I would love to do this for under $1,000. Wishful thinking?
