The list of nominees is pretty gross. I hope at least Tom Waits and the Beastie Boys make it, but even if they do, it's still a pretty crappy year. Especially when you consider most of the banRAB on the snub list.

Oh dear god what has happened to the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame? I can only hope that Tom Waits gets inducted, and I guess the Beastie Boys would be better in the hall than LL Cool J or Bon Jovi, but man...no Smiths? no Joy Division? come on.

I'm a huge Tom Waits fan but I really don't think he has much of a connection to rock n roll. Why would he belong in the hall of fame?
