My pohone started to turn off and on.. calling people on its own... and some moisure isnide the lens.. but i never got it wet. rep states , yup theres damage . i had to pay 85 dllrs to get another one... cricket sorta sucks now because of their stupid reps.

well im curiosu myself... how the hell does it got water??? the stickers are fine.. they have not changed color battery nor phonje. I havenever gotten it wet.. i dont get it.. maybe a water drop that fell in my pocket in the rain?maybe myst from the shower? now its working fine.. great already payed .. it messes up now and then. Ill still get the new one.

well hold on, how long have you had the phone? you don't have to use the insurance to replace the phone, if you are sure you didn't cause any water damage, and neither did anyone else (very important part) then you can send it in under the warranty, cost $45, $35 of which will be credited back to your account if it is a phone malfunction not cause by you. so you're total would be $10 for shipping and handling

if there is moisture inside the lens or on the screen... then it has water damage. the phone does not have to be dropped in water to get this, but clearly there is moisture inside the phone and it is not supposed to be there.

Youre talking warranty and no Cricket rep is gonna process a warranty on a phone with moisture in it. That isnt a factory defect so wont be covered by the warranty. Insurance (the 85) is the only option here.

Read what I said, and what he said, I said.... If you are sure you didn't cause any water damgae and neither did anyone else(very important) then you can send it in under warranty.. thats based on the fact their is no actual water damage at all..... since he says he didn't cause any and neither did anyone else. Unless you're calling him a liar??? But I know what you mean

i read what he said. You should read what I said. Cricket employees determine whether or not a phone is warrantable. THEY are the ones who determine whether you can pay the $45 and get a replacement. If there is visible moisture in a phone or indications that therehas been moisture It will NOT be covered as moisture is not something included from the faactory. Warranty is for MANUFACTURER defects. Since the moisture wasnt there when he bought the phone but appeared later, it obviously wasnt caused by the manufacturer.
It's not that hard to understand.

Nothing wrong you say. These are classic symptoms of water damage. And when the phone dries out it starts to work again. I see it EVERY DAY.
And almost every customer says this.

This guy should be thankful the rep that sold him his phone convinced him to get insurance.

a phone does not need to be submerged or even splashed to recieve moisture damage. moisture content in the environment can cause this. simply put if there is moisture condensation on the inside of the phone then the warranty cannot be honored.

They are so picky about water damage, it's insane. I understand that water can really kill a phone and that they would have to replace so many phones because of it, but really! O well, I guess you just have to be careful.

uuu why would I lie about it? LOL i just want service that works... Stop acting as if i was a newbie.. i knew more about the phone than the stupid rep. Adviced that phone power cycling is NOT WATER damage.. itsa software issue.. and shes like no no. Anywho it works and NO didnt get it wet.. like i said maybe moisture from the shower.. I got the new phone and i like it better. this one does NOT freeze when i reset it. The old one did. It would freeze and a green K for cricket would stay there unless i would take battery out. The new one does not do that. Il have to get the new spc code from them again.
