Show me where, in the whole cap and dividend idea, that somehow by spending more money a month in gas, utilities, food, products, etc. And filtering this money through government hands, that I come out ahead?
Just by the nature of government alone, that $1 in dividend profit they make from the extortion scheme will filter it's way through various agencies, hands, taxes, etc, before it ever goes out as a dividend check to the masses.
I'll be optimistic and say they only take out 40 cents of every dollar in profit to them.
Government profits $5,000,000/month in carbon credits.
After government filter, there is $3,571,428 dollars to dispersed amongst the serfs assuming 40% of it gets taken out.
$3,571,428 / 300,000,000 = $.01/month in dividend payments for me. So if we go by these numbers, as long my bills don't increase by $.01 every month, ACROSS the board, the scheme will work. That's with 60 cents of every original dollar in profit left over.
I'll run more numbers, let's say the government is really taking the carbon idea to the companies and sucking them for all they are worth, goddamn brown earthers.
$30,000,000,000/month sounds good. I'll go even better and say they only take 30 percent of the profit this time.
$30,000,000,000 / 30 percent = $23,076,923,076/month left.
$23,076,923,076 / 300,000,000 = $77/month dividend check per person.
If the government is taking $30,000,000,000/month out of utilities, manufacturing, etc, is it reasonable to believe that my overall cost of living is going to go up larger than $77/month. That could easily be achieved through the gas in my car alone.
For a family of four, that is $308/month, assuming little Billy also gets a check, and that's before the government inevitably comes back and taxes it at the end of the year also. They won't like the idea of $3696 a year for one family slipping through their fingers unabated.
Oh, oops, I forgrabroad
to factor in subsidies for the 50% of people nrabroad
currently paying taxes in this country...
Where does it work?
